"Uncharted"

So the adventure I have embarked on since I have been back in the metro Detroit area has been such a positive journey. Who knew when I made the trip to Los Angeles that I would leave and return home with such a gift. I have always been a creative and artistic person and I have always enjoyed the company of people, but the magic it brings to pull these two things together has been remarkable. Yes, what I do in simplest terms is Face Painting, but the heart I have within me and the knowledge I have been taught and placed in my hands, makes my talent like no other. I am like no one else, and I am special and I think that  is very important for every person to find.  I may just be a guy who paints a mustache on your kid, but I am also a man who is passionate and happy with the choices I have been given and the opportunity to choose a road that many are unable to walk! I have my Family, my past co-workers, my friends, and the opportunities given to me by strangers to thank. They have helped the budding success I have had in such a short time here in this little town of Livonia.

Big News

So the big announcement is I will be going to the Canterlot Gardens, Ohio's premiere convention for fans of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Built for pony fans by pony fans. I will be painting there doing pony faces of course and cutie marks(which are the little symbols tattooed on their butts). :) I am so excited to be involved not only with an amazing franchise but to reach more people with my painting then ever before.

I am so happy to finally have all my supplies. I have been taking advantage of having beautiful little sisters by trying to paint at least one new face a day. They have become my little models. I hope to use them and some other children to build my book and sign. Both are very important to the process of what I do. When someone approaches me for a face painting I want them to have choices. Of course if they have something specific in mind I'm always up for the challenge. But the purpose of this sign is for a adult/child to see what i am capable of and have many options.  The book is a replica of the sign for me. I use this to confirm their choice and also as a guide if I'm swamped or want to get as close to the pic as possible. Every human face is different so every design will always look a little different. Below is just a couple of examples of some of the faces I hope to sell.

I also received my business cards this week. They were created on Moo.com and are amazing. Below is a pic of what the cards look like.  I am so lucky to have such an amazing sister who is acting as my Marketing Manager.  She has gone above and beyond for her bro. I love her dearly and I hope one day I will be able to return the favor.  She also has a an amazing blog about one of her passions, check it out here!

Please if you would like one, let me know I have a lot and want to get the word out there about Structured Faces. Weekends are being booked in September, so please don't let the opportunity for Structured Faces to make your event one to remember pass you by!

Till next time my Structured Faces.
